Spark the Wave Alumni Success Stories
1. Megan Strower- Organized and held a Hunger Banquet at her parish on November 15, 2008, partnered with OxFam and had 60 attendees.
2. Alan Sebastian- Held a canned goods collection throughout his neighborhood, completed October 16, 2008 and collected 300+ cans.
3. Amanda Favret and Abigail Bowman- Conducted a canned foods drive at a football game, completed October 31, 2008, partner organization was Farmville Area Community Emergency Services and they collected over 110 pounds of food in addition to raising $210.
4. Stephen Ayers- Organized a canned food drive in his neighborhood, with Key Club and at Acme grocery store, completed October 10, 2009, partner organization was Interfaith Food Pantry and he collected 400 items.
5. Eric Schultz- Held a canned foods drive at a parish dance completed October 13, 2008, partner organization was Olney Helps and he collected 236 cans.
6. Claire Murphy-Conducted a canned foods drive at a party, completed October 15, 2008, partner organization was Community Cupboard and she collected 150 cans.
7. Rebekah Mennies- Organized a canned food drive in her neighborhood, completed November 27, 2008, partner organization was Phoenixville Area Community Services and she collected 100 cans.
8. Savannah Godbey-Held a school supply drive at her school, completed Fall 2008, partner organization was Agape House in Baltimore and she collected 4 large boxes of items.
9. Caroline Tetu, Caleb Harvey, Tiffany Hau, Elizabeth Diehl, Kelsey and Ellen- Set up a collection in local Coldstone ice cream shops completed Summer 2008 partnered with Children's Hospital and collected a total of 5 large trash bags full of items.
10. Connor Buckley- Held a toiletry collection at his school for two weeks, completed October 26, 2008, and partnered with Samaritan Industries.
11. Maya Zeigler & Armand Pickney- Held a school supply drive at their school, completed in Fall 2008, and collected a total of 4 boxes of supplies.
12. Joel and Carly- Organized a canned food drive at Good Counsel High School, completed September 26, 2008, partnered with Olney Helps and collected a total of 2670 food items in addition to raising $300.
13. Tori Marchiony- Held a canned food drive in her neighborhood, completed October 12, 2008, partnered with Philabundance and collected 10 bags of canned goods.
